Server migration - including applications
Zinstall WinServ migrates applications, configurations, databases, profiles, shares and data from one server to another. You can migrate even across different Windows Server versions, including 2003, 2008 and 2012, 32bit and 64bit. For example, you can use WinServ to transfer your applications and server environment from Windows Server 2003 32bit to a new Windows Server 2012 64bit.
WinServ supports not just physical, but also virtual transfers, including P2V, V2V, Cloud migrations, and cross-vendor migrations (Amazon, Azure and others).
Unlike a "swing" migration, a WinServ migration can be performed directly between the two servers, without any intermediaries - a "hot swap", and well as "in-place", upgrading a server to a new OS.
Zinstall WinServ does not attempt to virtualized or alter your server applications. Our transfer is native, real migration. This is made possible with Zinstall LEM technology, which is able to address and decouple the OS layers of the server - OS, applications, settings, data - and then migrate the appropriate components to the new system. Using this technology, WinServ is completely application generic, and can transfer any application. Some examples include:

Full service option
In addition to the WinServ software itself, you can also use a complete remote service option. Our server migration engineers will connect remotely to your servers at a time that works for you, and perform the entire migration. In addition to standard WinServ transfer, this also includes native server roles, including Domain Controller, Active Directory, Exchange, Oracle, SQL, DNS, DHCP, Group policy, User shares, security configurations, user shared data, login scripts and other components. The migration is domain-aware, and will maintain domain configurations, user permissions and settings, network settings etc.
For mission critical deployments, weekend and off-hours migrations are available - keeping your users unaffected by the migration.
Note that for Service Provider partners, our engineers will act as an extension of your team - your customer does not have any interaction with us (in fact, in most cases we don not even know who the customer is, and vice versa).

Full service remote server migration
To purchase a migration license for the WinServ software itself, choose this option. Recommended for application server migrations.
To purchase a full service remote server migration (performed by Zinstall engineers), choose this option. This is a complete migration package, including internal server roles as described above.
Nothing is left behind, and all roles work on the new system - exactly as they did before. DC, AC, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, SQL are all supported and transferred.
Zinstall WinServ provides a complete transfer of your entire server. Once the migration is complete, the server is operational - with the environment configured just as before.
Using the Full Service package, which includes a migration session performed by Zinstall server migration experts, you can sit back and let our engineers perform the migration for you - until the new server is properly configured and ready for work.
